He spent most of his professional life as a County Agent in Utah County. Watching things grow was his love from childhood until the day of his death. It gave him great pleasure to cultivate his garden and share the harvest with everyone. He was active in Kiwanis, Lions and other community programs. He filled many Church positions including Branch President, Scout Leader, Temple worker and an agricultural mission in Oklahoma. Joel and Frances loved to travel. They especially enjoyed Israel and an extended period in Iran as an agricultural consultant for the State Department..."
