Biography

Her birth name was Mary Demorious Barlow, but she was known as Demorious. Demorious was a daughter of Calvin and Loretta (Ritta) Bentley Barlow. She was born Jan. 30, 1856 in Caldwell County, NC.

She married Milas Keller, son of James W. Keller and Margaret Turner Keller on 31 Dec 1874, in Watauga County, NC. Names on the marriage license are Mary Barlow and Milas Kellar, and on the marriage certificate, the names are Mary Barlow and Millas Keller. The marriage license/certificate is recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds, Watauga County, NC – BK 0001, PG 057.

Milas and Demorious Barlow Keller had five children:
