Elizabeth Ann Barlow was the daughter of George Barlow and his wife Sarah of Phillip's Patent, Dutchess, New York[1][2]
After her father died, her mother moved with Elizabeth and her sister Sarah to Shelburne, Nova Scotia and then to Barrington.
Elizabeth's mother Sarah married William Burke of Burke's Point, Barrington, and died on July 6, 1803.
Her sister Susanna married Samuel Osborne Doane Jr[2]
William Burke's daughter by a previous marriage was Mary Burke, who married John Squires.
Sarah Barlow and William Burke had a son, William Burke, who was born in 1802, when his mother was nearly 60[1]
Circa 1790, Elizabeth married Seth Coffin the son of John Coffin and Mary Davis[1]. Their children included:
Seth 2nd, born 1791, who married (a) Abigail Doane, daughter of Samuel Osborne Doane and Sarah Harding in 1817; (6) Caroline Doane, the daughter of Edmund Doane and Tamsin Hamilton[1][2]
Josiah born 1804 who married Maria Doane, daughter of James Doane[1][2]
John, born 1809 m. Azuba Smith, daughter of Thomas K. Smith[1]
Sarah Coffin, who married Jonathan Smith Kendrick (b. 1791, the son of Edward Kendrick , son of Warren, and Rebecca daughter of Jonathan Smith)[1]
Lydia Coffin, who married Gavin Veitch Lyle (2nd wife)[1] (see Findagrave 175738153)
Esther Coffin, who married Isaac Kenney, son of [[Kenney-961|Gamaliel] and Mary Hopkins[1]
