Biography

William was born in 1855. He was the son of Richard Barlow and Martha Chamberlain.

William was a Mariner, primarily a bargeman, from an early age. He was mate on a canal barge in 1871.

William married Martha (or Margaret) Meeson in 1878. They had eight children.

He passed away in 1921 and was interred at Allerton Cemetery, Liverpool.
