Research Notes
The birth registration for Elizabeth Barlow (Warrington, Apr-May-Jun 1851, vol. 20. p. 1080) gives her father as Andrew Barlow (cotton weaver) and mother Elizabeth (Boond) Barlow. It is unknown how she came to be with the family of Richard and Martha Barlow. Note that the River Mersey and Mersey Ship Canal do pass though Warrington and Richard was a bargeman.
It is possible she is not the above Elizabeth, but sources showing otherwise are lacking.
