William Henry Barltrop was born in 1860 in Clerkenwell, London, England. He was the second son of Henry Barltrop and Margaret Blackman.[1]
The family migrated to Queensland, Australia, departing London on 17th May 1870 per the Young Australia and arriving at Moreton Bay on 25th August.
He married Emmeline Hedgelong in 1883 in Brisbane, Queensland.[2]
In 1923, William was the owner of an Overland motor vehicle, with Queensland registration number 12734. At that time he and Emmeline lived at Jackson Street, Doomben, on Brisbane's northside.[3]
He passed away on 24th March 1940 in Brisbane and his ashes were placed in Mount Thompson Crematorium, Queensland.[4]
