Biography
Nathaniel Barnard, brother of the Rt. Rev. William Barnard, Bishop of Derry, was the father of Catherine Barnard who married John Hart, son of George Hart by his wife Marianne Vaughan.
"John Hart was a Lieutenant in Colonel Dunbar's Regiment (48th), and when serving under General Braddock he was killed in America in 1755. His wife was the daughter of Nathaniel Barnard, Esq., of the Middle Temple, and the niece of William Barnard, Bishop of Derry."
