Ira Sloan Barnard was born in 1909 in Tattnall County, Georgia to Jackson James Barnard and Cora Ardelia Matthews.[1][2][3][4][5] He married Dora Ladelle Price about 1951 in Georgia. Ira passed away in 1990 in Evans County, Georgia and is buried in the Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia.[6][7]
