Peter Barnes was born on 17 June 1682 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts Colony, the son of Thomas Barnes and Prudence Albie. [1] He was the brother of Lydia (Barnes) Olney, Anne (Barnes) Allen, Thomas Barnes, Sarah (Barnes) Wight, Elizabeth (Barnes) Bullock, John Burns, Samuel Burns and Hannah (Barnes) Stone.
Peter married Margaret Whipple Borden, the widow of Joseph Borden, on 29 Sep 1716 in Providence, Colony of Rhode Island. [2]
Peter died in 1757.
