SOLDIER SECURED DIVORCE.
In the Supreme Court an Friday, before Mr. Justice Buchanan. Emery Victor Malcolm Barnes, of Cambrai, asked for a dissolution of marriage with Estelle Mav Barnes {nee Teasdale) on the ground of adultery with Patrick A. W. Dunning, of Port Pirie. It was stated that petitioner left South Australia for active service on October 20, 1914, returned in September, 1915. and left again in June, 1916, On May 17, 1918 the respondent at Adelaide gave birth to a child. The parties were married at Kapunda on September 10, 1910, and had resided at Truro and Clare. There were two children. Mr. A. B. Blackburn appeared for petitioner and Mr. F. H.. Downer for co-respondent. A dissolution was granted, without costs, against co-respondent. Custody of the two children, was given to the maternal grandmother. [1]
