M. was born in 1960. M. Barnes ...
Hello! We have been researching and documenting our family history since 2007 and have enjoyed meeting our extended family from coast to coast. Whether you are from the Barnes or Breeden Side of my Family. WELCOME TO MY FAMILY TREE!
My GEDMATCH KIT # is A138535 and FTDNA KIT # is B70598
My Daughter Lauren Barnes is the one who also manages the DNA Kits belonging to me & her husband & her sister along with her own. She also manages the Family tree so please contact my daughter Lauren if you are interested in more info on them... She also Manages my Y-DNA test on FTDNA as well.
Recently We have discovered through my Y-DNA test that we go back to Daniel P. Monroe (1809- 1881). If you have any info on that particular branch of Monroes' that came from Haywood County NC please do share any information you have on them with us.
The furthest Barnes Ancestor we have right now is Joseph Barnes born approximately 1770-1781. He last shows up in Haywood County NC in the 1830 Census and was alive in October of 1831as well when he went to trial in Haywood County NC. We are continuously researching for Joseph Barnes and we have not broke down the brick wall yet. Hopefully one day soon we will have more Info on who he was and where he came from prior to 1830.
If you would like to collaborate on our common ancestors please contact Lauren Barnes with any questions, comments, or family photos you would like to see or be added. She would be delighted to work with you.
You are welcome to attach our photos to your tree, but please do not create new copies. Each time you copy a photo on Ancestry it creates new hints which we have to later sort through and delete (for your added copy of the photos we already have). Thank you!
Have you taken a DNA test for genealogy? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Family Tree DNA.
