Barnes-9376 and Barnes-10270 appear to represent the same person because: same parents and spouse

Hugh; I have checked my tree records for James Barnes (1768-1859). I don't have any records that give a definite DOB or DOD. My only hard records are the 1850 census and Madison County, KY marriage index. Only estimated DOB or DOD can come from these records. 1850 Census is from Buchanan, MO with his age 80 years.

The rest of my information comes from Ancestry online trees. Larry

A merge was complete today with some issues needing research and resolution. Larry King should take the lead on this since his prior research seems more reliable. Discrepancies in merged data = Death date, 1858 or 1859. Death location = Buchanan, Bollinger, MO. MY PERSONAL NOTE - I may have information available from a reliable source on death data and have added this to my to-do list for follow-up. This line of Barnes resided in both Gentry and Buchanan at various times. TWO Ph.D. high ly skilled genealogy show no evidence that the parents of this profile EVER resided anywhere in Virginia.

Barnes-12366 and Barnes-10270 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same individual. They both are the children of Barnes-1169 for whichI am the Profile Manager. I hope each of the PM of these two profiles will work together to get our family house in order.

Jacque,

Before completing the merge, James and his descendants need to be added to theBarnes-1169 profile. I will leave that in your hands since it is your line.
