Bathurst Free Press and Mining Journal (NSW : 1851 - 1904), Friday 18 January 1901. [1] A SUDDEN DEATH. — This morning Mrs. Patterson, wife of Mr. J. M. Patterson, of Ranken Street, died rather suddenly. Mrs. Patterson was not by any means a strong woman, but up to last night she was in her usual health. During the night she was taken seriously ill and this morning she died. Great sympathy is felt for the bereaved husband and children of whom there are ten, the youngest being little more than an infant.
