Biography

Temperance was born in 1804 in Madison, KY. She was the daughter of Abraham Barnes and Temperance Taylor. In Nov 1830 she married Brazil/Basil Logsdon (1810-1878, s/o Joseph Logsdon and Ellen Hayden). They had five known children. Living in Madison throughout their lives, it is here she passed away after 1880.

2. Emily b. 1831 - d. 1870
3. Catherine b. 1834 - d. 1895
4. Richard Lawrence b. 1837 - d. 1863, age 26
5. Ambrose Joseph b. 1843 - d. 1864, age 21

Her husband was the executor of her father's will in 1844.
