James Barnes married Agnes Wilkerson, daughter of William Wilkerson and Elizabeth Unknown, on 26 October 1807 at Accomack County, VA. John Barnes was security on the M.L.B. of James Barnes and Agnes Taylor, widow of Ephraim.^[1]
