Biography

Benjamin Barnes enlisted and mustered Jun 1861, SC Muster Company 1, 10th Infantry. On 22 Jul 1864, he was wounded and imprisoned with a severe leg wound; leg was amputated. He died, a POW in Atlanta, GA, on 30 Jul 1864.
