Biography

Annie was born in 1884. She was the daughter of Cyrus Barnes and Mary Carter.[1]

After Annie's mother died, she was adopted by her uncle John Carter and aunt Mary Barnes Carter.[2][3]

She married Johnson Bowser on 29 January 1902, in West Leicester, Cumberland County.[4]

They farmed in Cumberland County.[5][6]
