Biography

Eleanor “Nelly” Barnes was the daughter of Shadrach Barnes and Hannah Turner. She was born 14 Jan 1800 in Madison County, Kentucky, United States. She died 28 Nov 1881 (aged 81) in Collin County, Texas, United States and was buried at Wear Cemetery in Rhea Mills, Collin County, Texas, United States. [1]

She married Harris Jamison on 1 Mar 1818 in Howard, Missouri, United States. [2] Known children of Harrison and Eleanor include:

In 1850 Ellenda/Nelly, age 50 and Harris/Harrison Jamison, age 56 were living in Collin, Collin, Texas, United States. Others in their household included eight of their twelve children.[3]
