Biography

Charles Barnes was born on 26 Aug 1865 in Calhoun County, Illinois. He was the son of William and Lucinda (Trowbridge) Barnes. Brother of Ada (Barnes) Blackorby. ^[1]

Charles married Julia Ann Ames Barnes (1875–1948). The couple had at least two children Hester Cecelia Barnes Hack (1894–1977) and Marie Ocie Barnes Clendenny (1904–2001).

Charles died on 16 Feb 1948 (aged 82).
