He married Lorena (or Laurinda?) Starks sometime before 1885 when their son Thomas was born.[citation needed]
They were living in Judson, Washington Township, Parke County, Indiana in 1900. Their household included six children and Willliam's mother, Sarepta.[2][3]
In 1910, he, his wife, and three of their sons, were living in Washington, Parke County, Indiana, where William owned a farm.[1]
William died on 19 Nov 1918 in Terre Haute, Indiana and is buried in Bethany Cemetery in Marshall, Indiana.[4]
Research Notes
William's Find-a-Grave memorial says that his parents were Edward Barnes and Serepta Bruin.[4] No documentation is given for those connections, so additional sources need to be found. -- Fiscus-32 17:53, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
