James Barnett was the son of James M. Barnett and Nancy Vaughan Barnett. He was listed as 12 years old and born in Arkansas on the 1880 census for White Oak Township, Franklin County, Arkansas. His birth year would have been about 1868. The document I have says 1872 but that would have made his age 8.
