Biography

George Barnett born in 1859, son of James and Eliza Barnett. [1]

George married in Oct 1907 to Lelia Sinclair, widow of Basil Gordon, a financier of Baltimore.

Step-Children: (in 1913 they resided in Huntly, Virginia)

  2. Anne Hamilton Gordon
  3. Lelia Sinclair Gordon

His sister Mattie Nixon resided in 1913 in Minneapolis, MN.

He was also awarded the French Legion of Honor in the grade of Commander
