Biography

Washington Barnett was listed in his father William's will, signed 22 Feb. 1816, and proved 1 April 1816 in Madison Co., Kentucky[1]. Washington was listed as one of his father's three "last children", so his mother is Jenny (Burnett) Barnett (abt.1760-1828).

Marriages and Children

First, Washington Barnett married Elizabeth Kincaid (1803-1836) on 20 November 1828 in Madison County, Kentucky[2]. Three children are attributed to Washington and Elizabeth:

  3. Mary Jane Barnett (abt.1836-1900)[5]

Second, Washington married Jane Kincaid (abt.1795-1872) (sister of Elizabeth) on 26 January 1837 in Marion County, Missouri[6]. Washington and Jane had at least one child:
