Marriage
George Barnett and Hannah Shepherd were married in Coldwaltham, Sussex 15 July 1871. George was aged 18, his father was James Barnett. Hannah was 21, her father was George Shepperd[3]
In 1881 George and Hannah were living in Nuthurst, Sussex with their children James, Emma, George and Sarah. George senior was working as a police constable[4]
In 1901 George and Hannah were living in Westhampnett, Sussex. George was still working as a police constable. Their children Sarah, Ernest, Ethel, Albert and Alice were living with them[5]
