Biography

Verda Priscilla Barney was born on 28 April 1911 at Hatch, Garfield, Utah to her parents Thomas Jefferson Barney Junior and Sarah Anne Riggs. She married Arnold Sawyer, son of Thomas Ball Sawyer and Margaret Hatch, on 22 November 1934 at Plute, Utah^[1]. She died on 5 November 2001^[2] and is buried at Hatch City Cemetery, Hatch, Garfield County, Utah.^[3]
