Biography
Andrew Jackson Barnhart was born in 1862, in Wilmot, Bradford county, Pennsylvania, a son of William Barnhart and Mariah (Lucas) Barnhart. He is found as "Jackson" on the Unites States Census of 1880, living in Wilmot, Bradford county, Pennsylvania, age 19 and living with his parents. [1]
Andrew Jackson died April 19, 1909, in Forkston Township, Wyoming county, Pennsylvania . According to his death certificate, Jackson was a "Mill Man" and was killed on the job at 6 a.m. when a boiler exploded and due to the explosion a rock fell and hit him on the head and back. [2]
