Biography

William was born in 1735. He is the son of Robert Barnhill and Sarah Smith. He passed away in 1810. [1] Information regarding William Barnhill being the son of Robert Barnhill is contained in the "Pennsylvania Family Group Sheet of the Robert Barnhill Family", copyright Vicki Burress Roach. Information regarding William Barnhill's service in the Revolutionary War is contained in "Tennessee Records, Bible Records and Marriage Bonds", compiled by Jeanette Acklen and from information contained in family Bible, in possession of Mrs. Rainey I. Hall, Corinth, Miss.

Barnhill-492 and Barnhill-79 appear to represent the same person because:

Exact dates and same spouse

Parents to be merged as well

May be listed as William Barenhill in a land deed "summarizing chain of title to a grant to William Hanna of April 1765" in Tryon Co., NC, on Jan. 5, 1773.

Barnhill-266 and Barnhill-79 appear to represent the same person because: It is obvious that the two Williams are identical and I believe that yours is the most accurate.
