The following is a piece sent to me by a researcher who didn't send me her name, only her email.
Cataract Cemetery is located near Cataract Falls State Park, Owen County, IN. It is a pioneer cemetery, located high on a hill in a wooded area. It is in the front yard of a summer cabin. Almost all markers completely lost. What remains was saved in 1986. Near the drive is a small metal marker which reads; T.C. Jennings bought 1000 acres in 1841 and built a mill at the upper falls in 1845.
There is another man named Calvin Barnes that served in the Civil War in the Indiana 44th Inf Reg. Co. 1. But, it was the "US Colored Infantry".[31][32][33]
