Biography
This profile is part of the Barnum Name Study.
Private Telah Barnum served with 13th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.
In 1756, Thomas Barnum and Eliphalet Barnum were appointed Telah's guardians.[1]
Telah Barnum was a Revolutionary War veteran. During August-September 1776 he served one month, 18 days with the 13th Regiment, Connecticut Militia.
Page 104 of Genealogical Record of the Barnum lists his service in New York.
The US Census of 1790 shows him, with two free white males under 16 and six free white females, living in Bethlehem, Litchfield County, Connecticut.
