Jacquette Baron married Simon Nard on 21 October 1629 at Sainte-Marguerite parish, La Rochelle. According to her marriage record, she was from Bordeaux.[1]
According to Fichier Origine, she was the daughter of Jean Baron and Perrine Gadillon. She and her husband Simon Narp were the parents of Charles Denart / Narp / Laplume, who was sent to Canada by engagement of 1658, as well as to other children François and Louise.[2]
She was the godmother of Guillaume Bernard, baptized 22 August 1640 at Saint-Barthélémy parish, La Rochelle. Guillaume was the son of Charles Bernard and Andrée Guyon,[3] whom some believe to have been the same as the Acadian emigrants Andrée Guyon and her husband with last name Bernard (see https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1135749/is-charles-bernard-the-husband-and-andree-guyon).
