Savage Barrell, in his 72 year {born abt. 1763}, merchant of Billericay, Essex, England died 7th July 1835[2] and was buried 14th July 1835 aged 71 years {b. 1764} at St. Mary Magdalene, Great Burstead, Essex, England. with annotation "Mr. Barrell's age was stated to be 72 in the Chelmsford Chronicle of the 10th July but the above (71) is the correct age"[3]
