Biography

William Barrell was born on 28 March 1683 in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay. He married Elizabeth Bailey on 2 July 1706 at/of Scituate, Mass.

Probate

William died intestate and on 4 November 1752, William Barrell of Scituate was granted the administration of his estate.[1]

His inventory was taken on 15 November 1752 in Scituate.[2]

In 1753, an account of his estate was recorded, including debts.[3]

In 1753, his widow Abigail received her dower.[4]

In 1755, an account of his estate is recorded which includes, debts paid, mortgage paid, real estate sold, and necessaries to the widow.[5]
