Biography
George was born in 1869. He was the son of John Barrett and Elizabeth Whatmore.
In 1883 while walking along the Merrimack River with his younger brothers George slipped and fell into the river, His brothers ran along the river trying to help him until he disappeared. The brother could not swim either.
