1920 Born - 6 June 1920 at Brentford, Middlesex, England, to Charles and Hilda Barrington.

1920 Baptism August 8, 1920 at St Peter's Ealing London.

1945 Marriage - June 2nd, 1945 to Lilian E B Hallett at the Parish Church in Farningham, Kent UK.

Peter Barrington was educated at St Paul's, London. He trained as a Quantity Surveyor, and served for some time as President of the Junior Chamber of the London Institute of Chartered Quantity Surveyors.

During the World War II he served in Northern Scotland in the construction of Airfields.

It seemed that everyone involved here was part of the Ealing Young Conservatives. It seems that it was in this period that he met [Goodland-7 | Pamela Marion Goodland].

In the 1st of April 1950 She married Christopher Courtney. It seems that this was not a successful relationship, and according to oral reports an affair between PFB & PMC was revealed in the news, possibly November 1950. As best we can determine they were banished by Peters Mother Hilda Lilly. After preparations were made, (passports and Pamela changing her name by deed poll to Barrington) they set sail for Australia in April 1951.

In Sydney he was the manager, rising to resident director for the Hammerson Property and Development Trust based in London. He made a notable impact on the city, and was a founding director of the Australian Society of Land Economists. He also served for a while on the Commonwealth Governments New Cities for Australia Commission.

Moved to Toolijooa (near Berry NSW – a 10 year process begun in the early 1980’s)

1997 Death 9th February 1997. Death of Peter Francis Barrington. following a 2 year battle with bowell cancer. He was cremated following a service at St Lukes Berry NSW a few days later.
