Biography

1890 Birth: Q1, 1890 Paddington, London England

1891 Census: Age 1, living with Parents at Bathurst St Paddington, London with her six siblings and one servant.

1901 Census: Age 11, living with Parents at Bathurst St Paddington, London with her seven siblings. Names spelled Esher.

1911 Census: Age 21, at Chichester, Chichester, Sussex, England, Student n Training for Elementary Teaching. Though the name here is Esther R Barrington I have accepted it, and other details are correct and the family notes suggest she was a teacher.

Family Notes: say she was engaged to Evelyn Jones who was killed in the 1914.18 war - I have not verified this. The notes go on to say that she first ran a school at Furzedown Ealing with here sister Fanny, and then became a Carmelite nun in the 1930's. She eventually became ill, and left the convent and went back to teaching, living in Marchwood Crescent Ealing opposite the Ealing Abbey until she died.
