This is a memorial stone for Thomas Barron Located on the nearby Barron Property not inside the cemetery. The Birth year is incorrect it should have been 1782 or 83. The family historians have documented the date but the stone was done previously. Thomas Barron was killed by lightening in Holmesville, Pike County , MS and believed to have been buried there. The oldest stones in the Holmesville Cemetery were bulldozed some years ago. These stones turn up from time to time and are reset. To the best of our knowledge Thomas Barron's has not surfaced.
