Biography

Carl Eugene Barron, son of Eugene Burris and Martha "Mattie" J. (White) Barron, was born on 8 or 18 or 21 Aug. 1887 in Grove Township, Adair County, Iowa.[1][2][3][4] He appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in the home of his parents at Grove Township, Adair County, Iowa.[5] He was a laborer doing odd jobs when he appeared on the census of 3 May 1910 in the home of his parents at Sumner, Pierce County, Washington.[6]

He married Edna M. McDonald on 12 Sep. 1912 at Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. Mattie J. Barron, mother of Carl, and Annie McDonald, mother of Edna, were the witnesses.[7]

He was a farmer when he and Edna appeared on the census of 12 Jan. 1920 at Roosevelt, Klickitat County, Washington.[8] He was a banker at a savings bank when he and Edna appeared on the census of 11 April 1930 at Seattle, King County, Washington.[9] He was a real estate salesman when he and Edna appeared on the census of 4 April 1940 at Auburn, King County, Washington.[10]

Carl died on 7 April 1942 at Seattle, King County, Washington.[3]
