Biography

3rd Baronet Barrow of Ulverstone

Born on 8 July 1833 John Croker Barrow was son of Sir George Barrow, 2nd Bt and his wife, Rosamund Hester Elizabeth Pennell.[1] At the time of his birth his parents were living at Kensington Palace. John was baptised at St Mary Abbots in Kensington on 1st of August.[2]

On 2 December 1857 he married Emily Jane Merriman, daughter of James Nathaniel Merriman MD of London.[1][3] They had three children, a son, Francis Laurence John and two daughters, Emily Agnes and Mary Mercy.[1]

His father died in 1876 and John succeeded to the baronetage as 3rd Baronet Croker of Ulverstone. [1]

John died on 23 September 1900.[4]
