Patience was the daughter of George Barrow and Desire Doty. She was born in Plympton[1]. She was the granddaughter of Edward Doty of the Mayflower. She married Cornelius Dunham[2] in 1741 in Plympton and they had 5 children. Cornelius died in 1766. Patience remained a widow until her death[3] in 1807, at the age of 84.
Patience, w/o Cornelius Dunham could NOT have married Joseph Lovell in 1750 in Middleborough. At that time, Cornelius would be alive for another 16 years. She had a children with him in 1748, 1753, 1754, 1755 and 1756. The FindAGrave information could not have been thoroughly researched. Also, she would have married Joseph has Patience Dunham, women didn't usually remarry with their maiden name (though it did happen). Therefore, I am removing the Find A Grave link and other sources linking her to Joseph Lovell as a 2nd husband for her.
