Biography

Dan BARROWS was born on 29 June 1780 in Mansfield Township, Tolland County, Connecticut[1] and died on 11 February 1863 in Norwich Aurora, Connecticut.[2], [3], [4] He was the son of Robert BARROWS and Joanna PORTER.

Although her 1850 census age would have placed her birth around 1796 in Connecticut, the earlier census records place Abigail FREEMAN's birth between 1780 and 1790. She died on 22 October 1853. Believed to possibly have been the daughter of Frederick FREEMAN and Abigail THOMPSON.[5], [6]
