Vernon L. Barrows, son of Iram and Malinda (Brown) Barrows, was born on 5 Feb. 1874 in New York.[1] He appeared on the census of 8 June 1880 in the home of his parents at Lisle, Broome County, New York.[2]
He married Ida May Hamilton, his first cousin and daughter of George A. Hamilton and Abigail (Burrows) Hamilton on 11 Oct. 1892 at Marathon, New York.[3]
He and Ida appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 at Harford, Cortland County, New York.[4] He and Ida were divorced on 19 Feb. 1910 in Michigan.[3]
He appeared on the census of 2 Jan. 1920 in the home of his brother at Berkshire Township, Tioga County, New York.[5]
Vernon died on 4 Dec. 1937 at Berkshire, Tioga County, New York[6] and was buried at Marathon Village Cemetery, Marathon, Cortland County, New York. His memorial has a the date of his death.[7]
