Biography

When George Barry was born on May 28, 1910, in Chicago, Illinois, his father George David was 37, and his mother, Rose (McKenna) Barry, was 27. He did not receive a middle name at his baptism, but he took the name of Joseph at his confirmation and used it as his middle name.

George had one son and two daughters with his wife Carmella (Lynch) Barry between 1942 and 1949.

George Joseph Barry passed away on March 3, 1978, at the age of 67. He died in Palm Beach Florida while they were on a winter vacation. However George and his family resided in Schaumburg Cook County, Illinois at the time, He was buried at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois. ^[1]
