Biography
Arthur was born in 1892, the son of Joseph Thomas Barry (1859-1933) and Catherine Costain (1861-1921). [1]
In 1913, in Launceston, he married Grace Mills (1891-1954). [2]
They had 4 children:—
- Jack Michael "John" (1914-1983)
- Jeffrey Vincent (1917-1988)
- Joan Kathleen (1922-abt.2010)
- Doreen Alice (1922-1968).
Some time, between 1922 and 1925, the family moved from Tasmania to Melbourne, Victoria.
Grace died in 1954.
Arthur Joseph Vincent Barry passed away in 1958, aged 66 [66y 1m 5d]. [3] F=Joseph Thomas Barry, M=Catherine Costain.
He was buried with Grace in Preston Cemetery. [4]
