David Chenault Barry was born in 1875. He was the son of David Barry and Lucy Chenault of Sumner County, Tennessee.
David married Miss Adele Wynne (1878–1953) in April of 1905. The couple had two children that we know of: David Sidney Barry and Benjamin Franklin Barry. The family resided in Gallatin, Tennessee.
David Barry passed away in May of 1911 in Gallatin. He was only 35 years old. Both he and his wife Adele were buried at the Gallatin City Cemetery in Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee, USA.
