Biography
James was born in 1766. He was the son of James Barry and Mary Noble. James married Mary Cassandra Howard in 1798 and they had their children in Jones County. Their children are listed:
Josiah Howard Barry 1802-1844 Fanny Barry 1804 - David Noble Barry 1808-1878 Hardy Sanders Barry 1810-1866 Lewis Dickson Barry 1815-1855
For some reason there's a separate profile for a Mark, same wife, same children, same parents but listed in the 1800 and 1810 Census as Mark of Oslo North Carolina. This is not a thread for me to focus on, but I did leave his Family Search ID here as well to be investigated later.
Eventually they moved to Wilson Tennessee where they lived out the rest of their lives. After Mary died, James married Catherine Field.
He passed away in 1818 in Wilson Tennessee.
