Blanche Evelyn Barry, was born on 20 October 1891, daughter of Jane Ann Cabot and George Henry Barry.
She married Frederick Charles Akast in 1914.
Blanche passed away on 22 December 1974 aged 83 and was buried at the Waikumete Cemetery, Glen Eden, Auckland, New Zealand.
