Her life events are all in central to western N. Y. Joseph Cushing Barstow's are central Maine. What scenario puts her 450 miles away from Litchfield, Maine? I doubt the attribution of parenthood. She may well be a daughter of Joseph C. Barstow but not this Joseph C. A cousin to be sure but her parents braved the wilds of New York not Maine.
