Peter was born in August 1840 and was christened on 27 Sept 1840 in Muiravonside, Stirling, Scotland. He married Emily Roe on 8 Jun 1880 in New Zealand and died in Levin, NZ in Dec 1918. He is buried in the Levin Old cemetery, Tiro Tiro Rd, Manawatu, Horowhenua, NZ.
