Biography

Joan was born in 1625, baptized on 28 Aug 1625 in Warborough, Oxfordshire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Bartholomew. In 1645 she married Thomas Gilpin Jr (well known Quaker preacher) and they had seven known children. She passed away in 1701 and is buried at the Friends Burying Ground in Warbourough, South Oxfordshire.
