Biography

Inez Alice Bartholomew was born September 18, 1896 at Milton Township in Dodge county, Minnesota the daughter of Frederick Bartholomew and Etheline Walker.

The family lived in Dodge county through at least 1910.

On September 25, 1915 Inez married Clayton Roland Countryman at Mantorville, Dodge, Minnesota. Clayton was the son of John and Ella Louise Dahl Countryman. Two sons were born of this union.

Inez, Clayton and son Cecil are found in 1930 in Wyoming, Jones, Iowa. Son John Frederick having died in 1925 in the same location. Inez was working as a servant in private service and Clayton worked as a laborer, odd jobs. The family stayed in Wyoming, Iowa through at least 1949. In 1960 they can be found back in Mantorville, Dodge, Minnesota.

Inez Alice Bartholomew Countryman died on January 12, 1989 in Olmsted county, Minnesota....Her place of burial is unknown to me.
